Figure Drawing and Sculpture

Have you done some drawing, but thought figure drawing would be too difficult? Or  are you ready to make your drawings and figure sculpture looser, more fluid, more dynamic and spontaneous. This fast moving, exciting, workshop may be for you!  We work rapidly, intuitively, building eye to hand coordination without letting the critical mind get in the way.  A perfect introduction to successful figure drawing, or an adventure that will take your work to a new level.

Our pace provides a sense of movement and excitement, capturing the energy of both artist and model and stimulating direct eye to hand coordination without letting the wkshp_don,elyse_Jane127kb 360x254critical mind get in the way. The model turns frequently, allowing sculptors to view all sides, and two-dimensional artists to create groupings, relationships and re-visioning. We repeat poses as needed for longer duration, but never let them get stale. When the model leaves, we focus on our work without pressure, developing those we choose. This class is appropriate for people at all levels. People may draw, paint, and/or work with clay.
